This very popular property is on a good beach for swimming and sun bathing. It is also right next door to the Whaler's Village shopping center. The property has an ocean front pool and jet-spa. There is also a salon & spa, tennis courts and an exercise room. All units at the Whaler are large and well-furnished. Every unit has a full kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. All units have central air conditioning. There are central laundry facilities available for guests. The property consists of studio units that will sleep 3 guests, 1 bedroom units that will sleep 4 guests (except the one bedroom oceanfront category that will sleep 2 guests only) and 2 bedroom units that will sleep 6 guests. The Whaler is a great property for upscale clients and the condo is in a prime location. Guests can walk to shops and restaurants at the Whaler's Village or take a short drive into Lahaina. All units are non-smoking. The property will be undergoing an exterior building renovation project from March 11, 2011 through February 29, 2012. Renovation UPDATE as of December 6, 2011: Tower 1 will be complete by December 23 with new lanai tile, railings, planters, exterior paint and tile on the elevator landings. Porte Cochere and lobby will be complete by December 23. All lanai tile removal and spall chipping hammers will be complete by December 23. This means no loud work at the property past December 23. Remaining work will consist of laying tile, setting planters, setting railings and paint. 95% of the units with the elective sliding glass door replacements will be complete. All guests will be staying in rooms with the newly completed exterior. Tower 2 remains under renovation and will finish by February 29th, 2012. The property staff will take appropriate action to minimize any guest inconvenience. All work is limited to Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
